Day one of the Match Counts competition last night in Plymouth, put on by the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers. It was a fun night watching middle schoolers load up on plates of pasta & garlic bread, followed by a fun competition of building catapults out of rubber bands, popsicle sticks, & binder clips. These kids are just plain smart! It's amazing to watch them! Today is the actual competition where they'll be competing for nationals. It will be a tense event for them.
